Driving along the east side of Lake Apopka (the third largest lake in Florida) one evening in November 2005, I noticed that the Lord was painting a beautiful sunset over the water. I stopped at Magnolia Park to enjoy the magnificent site and captured this photograph of God’s handiwork.
Lake Apopka has not yet recovered from the ill-effects of pesticide and chemical contamination three decades ago, but God has a way of taking broken lakes (and broken lives) and making them beautiful again.
